It looks like the American left’s fake news story regarding Russian collusion will be extended into the 2018 midterms and beyond. That’s because the fake news media keeps bringing it up everyday in some form or fashion. This week they have their collective undies twisted in a wad after President Trump congratulated Vladimir Putin on his latest election victory.  The media claims by doing so Donald Trump has brought a “new low” to the office of the president. Really?

Why is it now officially a, “new low” when past presidents have done the exact same thing? For instance, a man named Obama called Putin in 2012 to congratulate him when he won. I don’t recollect the fake news media having a conniption fit over that? In 2008, President Bush called to congratulate Putin and his counterpart Dmitry Medvedev on their respective wins. Where was all the media outrage over that?

American presidents congratulating adversaries goes all the way back to the 1960’s. That’s when democrat John Kennedy sent a message to the leader of the Soviet Union congratulating him on their successful space program. Congratulating your enemies is a helpful way to keep your adversaries closer to you.

The reason why the fake news media is hyperventilating over president Trump’s call to Vladimir Putin is it helps push their fake Russian collusion narrative. They desperately need to keep the fake news story alive to help their socialist democrat friends win elections in 2018. It looks like the American people will continue to be politically bombarded by the left’s fake Russian collusion story all the way into the 2018 midterms and beyond.
